ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES

All participants in group counseling services must attend meetings remotely if they are equipped to do so. Groups should make accommodations for remote support to the maximum extent feasible. If remote participation is not feasible or advisable under the circumstances, participation may occur in person provided that there is compliance with the social distancing requirements set forth in the Order, including maintaining at least 6-foot distance between individuals and limiting group size to reduce in-person interactions.

HEALTHCARE OPERATIONS

Yes. They are classified as Healthcare Operations, and all Healthcare Operations are considered Essential Businesses and may continue to operate. Under the County’s Order, emergency procedures as well as routine and preventative appointments are allowed.

CARING FOR CHILDREN

Childcare establishments, summer camps, and other educational or recreational institutions or programs providing care or supervision for children of all ages that enable owners, employees, volunteers, and contractors for Essential Businesses, Essential Governmental Functions, Outdoor Businesses, or Minimum Basic Operations to work are allowed under this Order. Such businesses must comply with the Social Distancing requirements as set forth in the Order.

To the extent possible, facilities must comply with the following conditions:

  • They must be carried out in stable groups of 12 or fewer children (“stable” means that the same 12 or fewer children are in the same group each day).
  • Children shall not change from one group to another.
  • If more than one group of children is at one facility, each group shall be in a separate room. Groups shall not mix with each other.
  • Providers or educators shall remain solely with one group of children.

CONSTRUCTION

All residential and commercial construction can proceed, including new projects, as long as the construction is permitted under the Governor’s Order and the construction site complies with all Construction Safety Protocols listed in Appendix B (B-1 for small construction projects and B-2 for large construction projects) for of the County’s Order.

OUTDOOR BUSINESS

Car dealerships that meet the requirements of an “Outdoor Business” as set forth in the Order are allowed to sell cars and conduct test drives as long as they can fully maintain social distancing of at least six feet between all persons at all times. Car dealerships that do not meet the requirements of an “Outdoor Business” can only provide repair services and sell auto supplies.
