New Covid-19 Pillar Point Harbor Boat Ramp Rules: One Vehicle, One Vessel, Social Distancing

May 21, 2020 by Michelle 1 Comment

NOTICE.

These are the rules that *will* apply after Pillar Point Harbor opens. That won’t happen until after the County Health Officer removes the 11am-5pm beach and park closure, from the Harbor Commission meeting on Wed, May 20th.

~ From MCC’s Dave Olsen. Thanks for the clarification.

Modified Boat Launch Rules are as follows:

  • One Vehicle on Ramp at a Time
  • One Vessel Launching at a Time
  • Remain in Your Vehicle While Waiting to Launch
  • Maintain Social Distancing at All Times

Please note that annual launch ramp passes will also be extended by the number of months the ramps were closed.

Our commitment to serve remains the same, and we thank you for understanding the unique challenges faced by all during this time. For more information, please visit the District’s website at: https://www.smharbor.com/covid-19-updates or call (650) 583-4400.

Thank you,

San Mateo County Harbor District

Oyster Point Marina opened today, and the rules above do apply at Oyster Point now.
