Pacifica Police Department Presents Earthquake & Tsunami Preparedness via Zoom

On January 15, 2022 the western coastline of the United States was under a Tsunami Advisory following a volcanic eruption off the coast of the Tonga Islands.
According to NOAA, this was a rare event; with only about 5% of tsunamis generated by volcanic activity.

The Pacifica Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is presenting this 90 minute Earthquake and Tsunami Preparedness Course via Zoom on Thursday, February 17 at 7PM.
