VIDEO. If you have never heard of Abundant Grace, you will want to learn more. If you are feeling a bit low, what with the pandemic, this video will give you a place for the hope that burns in all of us.

The virtual Farm to Table event took place Sunday, 10/25/2020.

Abundant Grace is celebrating our FIVE year anniversary! We invite you to partner with us to expand our farm program for individuals experiencing homelessness, while at the same time enjoying a farm-to-table dinner “together” in the comfort and safety of your own home. Due to COVID-19, we will not gather on the farm this year.

Executive Director Eric Debode will broadcast live right here for a half hour of entertainment and updates about what 2020 has been like for the organization, where we’re headed, and what positive change and stories of hope we’re seeing in the lives of those in our community who are experiencing homelessness.

  • Live updates about the organization from Executive Director Eric DeBode
  • A message from Chef Diego Felix of Colectivo Felix
  • Virtual tours of Potrero Nuevo Farm & our Workforce Development Center
  • Videos of the Coastal Clean Team & the Farm Apprenticeship in action
  • Inspiring stories of positive change
  • An abundance of gratitude for your critical support!

WHAT IS OUR FULL CIRCLE FOOD JUSTICE PROGRAM?

We are transforming lives and supporting people in a creative and dignified approach by doing job readiness training for people experiencing homelessness to grow organic produce at Potrero Nuevo Farm for our low-income neighbors.

Participants give back to our community while receiving a stipend to support themselves and improve their lives.

This program includes free organic produce distribution, free community breakfast and individual one-on-one support. We need your help so that we can include everyone who shows up to work each week.

Currently, we have to turn away homeless individuals who want to work!

Celebrating our 5 year anniversary as an organization!
