About Lauren…..Lauren Silberman is a versatile cannabis industry consultant and educator with over seven years of hands-on cannabis experience in Oregon and California with cultivators, extractors/manufacturers, and dispensaries alike. She is a specialist in start-ups and licensing, and has helped cannabis businesses across the United States with initial infrastructure build-out, business development, license applications, market analysis, and more. Before entering the cannabis industry, Lauren worked as an teacher for over 10 years, teaching students from age 6 months to 82 years in swimming, music, and English. Lauren also has experience coordinating and publishing academic research, and has supported cannabis research organizations in both the United States and Israel. She has spent significant time in Israel over the past several years supporting medical cannabis
companies focused on developing and medically validating cannabis products for medicinal use. Her passion for cannabis and work in the industry is driven by three things: the plant, the product, and most importantly – the patient.
