The Mavericks Awards big-wave video contest is pleased to present its second annual @mavericksfestival, kicking off the winter season with a two-day celebration for the community on September 30 & October 1, 2023 at Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, CA.

The Mavericks Festival is a fundraiser event and will feature two days of live performances from six bands including:

@coast_tribe_music, @mondocozmo and @unwrittenlawofficial headlining on Day 1;

then @falsebottomband, @common_sense_oc and @thebeachesband headlining on Day 2.

In between musical acts, prominent Mavericks photographers and videographers will showcase their videos and photos on the large Jumbotron screen so attendees can see Mavericks through the eyes of the photographers. A curated sampling of their most stunning imagery will be on sale in the Mavericks Photo Zone. The Mavericks Rescue Team will have their jet skis and safety gear in the Surf Zone next to a “gun rack” of big-wave surfboards on displays, where attendees can engage with renowned shapers @pearsonarrow and @jeffclarksurfboards.

The Mavericks Festival is free to the public and all ages are welcome. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for purchase to enjoy the Festival from the comfort and fun of the VIP Zone with an excellent view of the stage. Check out #MavericksFestival.com for details!
