Half Moon Bay Rotary’s 2023 Magic of the Coastside Lobsterfest Fundraiser Supporting their Special Projects

The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Foundation has been supporting the Coastside since 1971. We are a 501 (c)3 foundation that funds short and long-term projects that meet community needs. And we are known for supporting the special projects of other local charitable, educational and public causes and organizations. Our areas of focus include: vocational scholarships, disaster relief, club community projects and international projects. Recent projects include purchasing household items for Coastside farmworkers, providing vocational scholarships for Half Moon Bay High School seniors, sponsoring the entry plaza at the state-of-the-art Half Moon Bay Library, funding the media room at Senior Coastsiders, and providing a fishing trip for Coastside Veterans.
We hold an annual fundraising event, The Magic of the Coastside, to raise funds for these projects.
This year we are hosting a family-style Lobsterfest with music and entertainment by Michael Vincent and U No Who.
We will also have a no-host bar, a silent auction, and a no-host dessert bar.
In addition, we will include a “Fund-a-Need” activity to support the Coastside Adult Day Health Care (CADHC) Memory Care Unit. CADHC has identified a specific need for memory care supplies to enhance the qualify of life for their participants.
