Join us on Saturday, September 23^rd for a fun-filled day of FREE live music & FREE activities for all ages!

The City of Half Moon Bay, in partnership with the Half Moon Bay Library and the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastside will be hosting the 4^th Annual Summer’s End Music Festival, in beautiful downtown Half Moon Bay.

This festival begins at noon and will conclude at 7pm, and will offer FREE climbing walls, caricature drawings, face painting, henna tattoos, cornhole, inflatables obstacle course, a large kid’s activity area with live music for the kids and a main stage with several great California musicians and bands!

This event is entirely FREE and we hope to see you there to help us close out the Summer of 2023 in style!

2023 Summer’s End Line-up

The B-Side Players are a 9-piece band part of a new movement in popular music. A band that honors the international cross-pollination that has always made music the universal language. They use any beat that catches their ear, regardless of geography or genre, to create a compelling, horn driven, polyrhythmic groove. They continue exploring the multifaceted grooves of Latin America and the Caribbean, incorporating the sounds of Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico and Brazil with the funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop rhythms of their homeland, dropping bits of Cumbia, Salsa, gritty street Samba, Son Montuno, Jarocho and Boogalo into the mix.

Katie Skene is a blues and Americana singer, guitarist and songwriter, based in Ventura, CA., and originally from Tallahassee, FL. Her music embodies the melding of her Southern roots with a decade spent on the West Coast. The result is a sound uniquely her own, infusing the twang of southern rock with the cosmic sounds of California.Through the prism of her evocative vocals, personal songwriting and masterful guitar work, Katie’s music blends electric swamp blues with jam-band psychedelia.

Radio Gatsby is an exciting new San Francisco-based dance band that performs blended arrangements of 1920s & Speakeasy Jazz, mid-century R&B, and Contemporary Pop music!  

This musical explosion is a new collaboration between keyboardist Noam Eisen (Vinyl Kings, Cosmo Alleycats), and veteran trumpeter, singer, guitarist and percussionist Rich Armstrong (Boz Scaggs, Tony! Tony! Tony!, Thomas Dolby, Train, Josh Groban, Jazz Mafia).  Featuring the exquisite and powerful vocals of recording artist Yvette Pylant (Tower of Power, Jazz Mafia) and other top-tier guests, Radio Gatsby delivers rousing musical performances.

Weekend at Bernie’s is a classic and original rock / R&B / funk band. Scott Steward on Bass/vocals, Matt May on drums, Osi Scott on percussion, Chris Pimentel on Guitar and Adam Bernie on keys/vocals.. This high energy, danceable group lays down tunes from familiar bands like Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Bad Company, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, & Santana as well as their own groovy original music. These seasoned musicians are not to be missed as they jam the covers to a new level and present their own brand of funky rock.
