Half Moon Bay History Presents “The 145 Year History of the HMB Volunteer Fire Department” at the Odd Fellows

The Half Moon Bay Volunteer Fire Department started in 1879 as Hose Company No. 1 and held its first official meeting in 1899. That first meeting was at the IOOF Hall in Half Moon Bay.
Come to the same historic IOOF Hall on February 1 for the History Association’s winter program!
Today’s Volunteer Firefighters will present the department’s colorful history and tales of courage through the years.
This event is a free presentation by the HMB History Association.
No reservation needed.
Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Program starts at 6:00 PM sharp.
