Half Moon Bay High XC team is hosting the Community Artichoke XC Run on October 2nd. This course hasn’t been open to the public for more than 50 years… so now is your chance.

NOTE: The Artichoke Invitational is Oct. 1st. The community course will mimic the invitational.

Come run this historic coast-side course and compare your time against the best XC runners past and present. The course is 2.33 miles of grass, asphalt, dirt paths, muddy areas, synthetic track, gravel road, down hills, flats, hay bales, a couple of tree groves, and Cougar Hill. All the good stuff you’re looking for in a true cross country course.

All ages are welcome!

But you will need to hurry to register- we’re only a couple of weeks away.

By registering for this event, I acknowledge and agree that running a cross country race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained.  I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, physical contact with other participants, volunteers, race personnel, and spectators. I assume all risks including: the effects of the weather; high heat and/or humidity and/or freezing cold temperatures.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Cabrillo School District, The Boosters  and all individuals directly and indirectly involved with the Artichoke Race and all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
