July 21st, 2023

San Mateo County Harbor District urges local salmon fisheries to apply ASAP.

To: San Mateo County individuals, associations or business that have been impacted by the salmon Fishery Disaster.
The County of San Mateo Department of Emergency Services must have some Injury Worksheets in my Friday July 21st 2023.

CalOES IA is reaching out to the County of San Mateo regarding the potential for an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Declaration (EIDL) for the Salmon Fisheries Disaster.

How to qualify for SBA EIDL declaration

The entire state of California is the “disaster area” for this event, so the state as a whole requires a minimum of 5 significantly impacted businesses to receive the declaration.

For your county to be included under the declaration, SBA requires at least one significantly impacted business.

For that business to be counted, a completed EIDL Economic Injury Worksheet (attached) must be submitted from the County to Cal OES detailing the economic losses to that business, dates they were impacted, insurance information, etc.

Submit completed form to San Mateo County Department of Emergency Management (DEM)

David Cosgrave ~ Dcosgrave@smcgov.org

These they must be submitted to the County of San Mateo representative

and not sent directly to the State or SBA.

Please email any questions.
