Tree Lighting – November 24

The holiday tree lighting ceremony is a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season. It’s a time when our Coastside community comes together to celebrate the joy and spirit of the season. At the ceremony, our biggest tree yet will be lit up with twinkling lights. Kids are invited to bring handmade ornaments to hang on the tree. It’s a wonderful tradition that puts a smile on people’s faces and gets everyone in the holiday spirit! The Tree Lighting is sponsored by McDonald’s HMB!

Celebrate Your Loved Ones with a Light or an Ornament. We are honored to celebrate our community members in this special way. Submissions are due by November 10, 2023.

Parade and Block Party and Santa – December 1

The Annual Lighted Parade with Santa Claus starts around 6:15 – come early to stake out your spot! Santa will be in Mac Dutra Plaza after the parade for kids to tell him what they want for Christmas. Make It Main Street will be hosting an artist’s row on Kelly Ave along with local nonprofits and their fun-raisers. The Kid’s Zone will take place next to the park on Kelly Ave. with fun activities for kids of all ages. After the parade, check out the floats & cars show on Main Street! Parade sponsored by Republic Services!

BE IN THE NIGHTS OF LIGHTS PARADE!

If you would like to be in the parade with your animal, automobile, float, group, business, or friends, please fill out the form. We are super excited to show off Coastside creativity!! Submissions are due by November 29, 2023.

Ugly Sweater Party – December 8

Bring out your best (or worst?) ugly holiday sweater and join us downtown for the Ugly Sweater Party! There will be dancing, food, and refreshments. Kid friendly! Our panel of sweater experts will award prizes for the most atrocious attire! Ugly Sweater Party sponsored by the Cantina @ San Benito.

Elf Movie Night and Spaghetti – December 15

“There’s room for everyone on the Nice List!” – Buddy
Bring the whole family and join us in the Cunha’s Country Store parking lot for an outdoor screening of Elf, the holiday favorite starring Will Ferrell. The movie is playing outdoors, so bundle up and bring your blankets! Movie Night sponsored by Jupiter & Main!

SPAGHETTI FEED!

Join in the fun and eat along with Buddy! There will be a prize for eating a small plate of Buddy’s Breakfast Spaghetti! Spaghetti, salad & bread by It’s Italia!
