Coastside CERT Hosts “Shake and Bake + Disaster Food and Water” ~ Disaster Prep for Coastsiders

Coastside CERT would like to welcome everyone who lives or works on the Coastside to join us for an Educate the Coastside Disaster Preparedness class.
This event will provide information on how to prepare for earthquakes, and what to do during and after, especially if the earthquake causes fires.

TIME: Total Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Sign-in: 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
CLASS: 10:00 a.m. to Noon
Q&A/Re-set venue: 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The first 100 registrants will be in the class and the remainder will be on the waitlist.
VENUE: Half Moon Bay Yacht Club
214 Princeton Ave/Vassar Ave, in the Harbor/Princeton neighborhood.
Please park respectfully on nearby streets and walk down Vassar Ave to the HMBYC Event Center.
INSTRUCTORS: Carrie Tillie and Matt Linton
Our certificated CERT instructors, Matt Linton and Carrie Tillie will share practical advice on how to build your supplies for both shelter-in-place and evacuation when disaster strikes. Carrie is a certified CERT Trainer and chef, and Matt has experience in both professional and volunteer Fire & Rescue roles. This will be a class with plenty of real-world advice and practical steps you can take to be better prepared for life as a Coastsider.
