Bob Senz Celebration of Life and Dedication of the American Legion Post 474 Veterans Garden

Sun. September 10th @ 11:00am - 5:00pm

HALF MOON BAY, CA (August 27, 2023) – Bob Senz was one of those rare souls who lived every day with a friendly twinkle in his eye, kind words and a warm greeting for all he encountered.

He had a special gift of making everyone feel they were his friend whether they were longtime acquaintances or meeting for the first time.

Senz, a longtime resident of El Granada, owner of Ocean Shore Hardware until 2003, founder of the iconic Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show and a rock solid community contributor, will be honored with a Celebration of Life event at the American Legion Post 474 on Sunday, September 10 from 11am to 4pm.

“Bob was a great supporter and friend to the Legion and it’s an honor for us to host this gathering as part of our Dedication of the Coastside Post 474 Veterans Garden which he was part of bringing to life,” said Bob Resch of the Legion.
“Bob was the visionary and driving force behind Dream Machines for 25 years, a generous benefactor of the Coastside Adult Day Health Center and absolute pillar of our community,” said Chad Hooker, current Show Chairman. “We’d like all those holding a connection to Bob to join us and share your stories and memories about the life of this amazing man.”
In addition to the Veterans Garden dedication ceremony at 11am, the Bob Senz Celebration will begin at 12pm with scheduled speakers and friends sharing memories of Bob.
The celebration will also feature Grant Walters & Friends playing fine music, Sam’s Chowdermobile and a taco truck offering hearty food and a no-host bar.
Who knows, maybe a Bob Senz Big Cacklest mass firing-up of the engines may break out spontaneously to celebrate his incredible Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show legacy.
Limited seating will be available and folding chairs are welcome. Bringing in alcohol and ice chests are not allowed. Well behaved dogs on leash will be allowed. Admission is free.
Special thanks to all the contributed to the Vets Garden especially the Post 474 volunteers, Bob Resch & Family, Bob Senz & Family and the Fegundez Family.
