Started by the Obester Family back in the early 70’s & 80’s, the original Barrel to Bottle Days allowed customers to drop by the winery with their empty wine jugs in hand.
They would be filled to the brim and then off they would go to enjoy wine with family and friends. Today, we continue the tradition of hosting regularly scheduled Barrel to Bottle Days, however no longer are customers allowed to bring in empty bottles.
Wine is filled in new glass only.
Instead it has evolved into a day long experience for guests to enjoy music, food, and free tastings of the new wine being bottled in the historic winery barn.
No more empty bottles filled, only new glass.

La Nebbia is a boutique Winery located in the coastal town of Half Moon Bay, less than 2 miles from the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean. With our mild and temperate climate La Nebbia is the perfect place to enjoy throughout the year. Be sure to bring something warm and sun-shading, just in case it’s foggy or sunny. We get both often!
Join us in our Garden for seated table-side service Thursday’s 1pm-5pm, Friday’s 1pm-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 11am-6pm to relax, unwind and sip wine (calendar of events below)! We offer a couple Tasting Flights each weekend in addition to our full bottle menu, and have a variety of à la carte charcuterie style foods. Outside food is permitted with offsite food fee, $50 for groups 1-4 and $100 for groups 5-10. Any group larger than 10 needs to make arrangements with the Winery.
