Listen to keynote speakers Scot Anderson and Paul Kanive, PhD from the California White Shark Project for an awe inspiring presentation on the value, beauty, and magic of these incredible animals.
We hold this event in October because, every autumn, one of the world’s largest concentrations of white sharks migrate to the Gulf of the Farallones, right off our San Mateo coast. These white sharks, as apex predators, play a critical role in maintaining a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
Admission is free, come early to grab a seat!
We’ll have food, raffle and posters. It’s also a great opportunity to meet the Surfrider SMC team and learn about our programs. Hope to see you there!
