Coastside Friendship Organic Garden at Johnston House?
Adopt a resolution authorizing:
1) the City Manager to negotiate and execute a facility use agreement with Coastside Friendship Organic Garden (C-FOG) for use of a portion of the Johnston House Park property as a managed community garden; and
2) a contribution of $20,000 to C-FOG to support the development of the community garden.

I hope you are well and healthy. Tomorrow’s city council meeting is being conducted by phone and video. If you have any ideas or areas of concern related to COVID that you would like to bring before council, you can do so from the safety of your home. We very much encourage input during this time of crisis. A community united in thought and purpose is our aim.

SPECIAL REMOTE MEETING PROTOCOLS In accordance with the San Mateo County Health Officer’s March 16, 2020 and March 31, 2020 Shelter-In-Place Orders and Governor Newsom’s Executive Order No-29-20, this will be a teleconference meeting without a physical location to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
This meeting will include teleconference participation from a quorum of council members in locations not open to the public in compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-25-20 allowing for deviation of
teleconference rules required by the Ralph M. Brown Act.

The purpose of this order was to provide the safest environment for staff and the public while allowing for public participation. The meeting will be held at the Adcock Community Center for any members of the public who wish to speak in person, though we do encourage all members to participate remotely.
The meeting will be:
- streamed live on Channel 27
- the City’s website online (via Granicus)
- and on Facebook Live
- one in English (City of Half Moon Bay FB Page)
- one in Spanish (City of Half Moon Bay Recreation FB Page)
- Recorded by Pacific Coast TV (PCTV)
