Reimagine SamTrans Reaches Out to the Coastside ~ Would An “On Demand” Service Work Best?

The SamTrans Planning department is working on a comprehensive operational analysis of the SamTrans bus routes called Reimagine SamTrans.
The goal is to develop a transportation system that best meets the public transit and mobility needs of San Mateo County.
The Planning department has developed several transportation alternatives and is now seeking public input. They will then refine the alternatives and come back to the community for additional public input.
When we discussed the Reimagine SamTrans plan at an earlier Coastside meeting, the group had a lot of good comments.
One alternative in Reimagine SamTrans includes a possible “on demand” service on the Coastside.
