On Tuesday July, 9 the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Coastal Development Permit, Architectural Review, and Setback Variance for a new restroom project and other improvements at Pillar Point RV Park. The project is located on property owned by the San Mateo County Harbor District at 4000 Cabrillo Highway North.

The 3 yellow circles 2, 3, 4 were the sites proposed and commented on at HMB Planning Commission last January. They were not well received then for the reasons noted below.
For this week’s meeting, what is now called the preferred alternative places the restroom in the day-use lot close to the entrance, away from the waves, but uses up 15 parking spaces.
This photo was taken earlier this year, 2019, during the storms.
