NEW OWNERSHIP AS OF MARCH 6, 2020!

The Coastal Vine in Moss Beach, CA (previously The Wine Room) is owned and operated by a local independent entrepreneur, Shondra Mayer. We have been open for a little over a year as of March 2021 and we continue to stand strong. We can’t help feeling this is due to her dedication to finding wines that people like and our local patrons support.

We offer a growing number of wines from California, France, Italy and Argentina, to name a few. Our price range spans the spectrum from affordable to splurge and in between. Wines are available by the glass and bottle and to go with your quaff we have charcuterie plates, small bites and Odyssey Pizza from next door. There is something for everyone including beer drinkers and non-drinkers.

Inside The Coastal Vine you’ll find a place to meet new friends, gather with familiar faces or have an intimate rendezvous. We have two rooms where you can choose to sit at the bar, at a table or find a quiet corner with cushioned couches and chairs. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and we strive to give you the wine experience you deserve and want to come back to.

Shondra loves wine and she love interacting with people. She has spent years in the hospitality industry as a flight attendant, food and beverage server and wine merchant where she’s learned how to provide you with happy friendly attention and quality service….this is her GOAL.

The wine club is headed by her uncle, Paul August, and is up and running. We are very excited about it and Paul has been passionate about wine for decades.
