Evergreen Coastsiders – “Kiss the Ground” Movie Screening and Presentation

Senior Coastsiders is very excited to offer a monthly presentation on environmental awareness, advocacy, and action as part of its new Evergreen Coastsiders program. The first event will be a free viewing of the movie, “Kiss the Ground,” a full-length documentary narrated by Woody Harrelson. This documentary sheds light on a “new, old approach” to farming called “regenerative agriculture.” The movie is available on Netflix, but Senior Coastsiders will be holding a free Zoom screening on Wednesday, January 13 at 6:00 p.m. Afterwards, on Thursday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m. join Senior Coastsiders and Melinda MacNaughton for an online presentation on how healthy soil can capture CO2 and how you can heal your own soil at home or in your own community.

Evergreen Coastsiders – Proyección y presentación de la película “Kiss the Ground”
Senior Coastsiders está muy emocionado de ofrecer una presentación mensual sobre conciencia ambiental, defensa y acción como parte de su nuevo programa Evergreen Coastsiders. El primer evento será una visualización gratuita de la película, “Kiss the Ground”, un documental de larga duración narrado por Woody Harrelson. Este documental arroja luz sobre un “nuevo y antiguo enfoque” de la agricultura llamado “agricultura regenerativa”. La película está disponible en Netflix, pero Senior Coastsiders realizará una proyección gratuita de Zoom el miércoles 13 de enero a las 6:00 p.m. Posteriormente, el jueves 14 de enero a las 18:00 h.
