DATE CHANGE. Devil’s Slide & Montara Mountain Trails Temporarily Closed May 30th to June 9th, 2023 for Emergency Repair to North Peak Access Road

DATE CHANGE. Devil Slide Trail’s south gate and parking lot will be closed from May 30 through June 9, 2023 while crews perform repairs to the North Peak Access Road on Montara Mountain, which will require the use of the Devil’s Slide south lot for staging.
PREVIOUS SCHEDULE. Devil’s Slide & Montara Mountain Trails Temporarily Closed May 8th-19th, 2023 for Emergency Repair to North Peak Access Road
San Mateo County Parks in partnership with Cal Fire, PG&E, California State Parks and National Park Service will begin emergency repair work to the North Peak Access Road on Montara Mountain starting early next week.
Trail closures will be in place May 8-19 at McNee Ranch State Park, Rancho Corral de Tierra and San Pedro Valley County Park and Devil’s Slide Trail.
The Devil’s Slide Trail’s south gate and parking lot will also be closed during this time (including May 13-14) and the north gate and parking lot still remains closed due to rockslides caused by the winter storms.
