Join us for CJC’s 2020 Virtual High Holiday Services led by Rabbi Moshe Heyn and Sheli’ach Tzibbur Lissin Lev Chaya, with musical accompaniment by Avram Frankel. Our services have a deeply spiritual and haimish (warm, friendly, inclusive) vibe that is unique to the Coastside.

Upon registration, the Zoom link and other details will be provided. High Holy Day participation is free for CJC members; suggested donations are requested for non-members, however we never turn anyone away for inability to pay. Young adults are invited to attend for free.

Now is the best time to reserve your space.

.
Even our High Holy Days services will provide opportunities to be outdoors. For our Tashlich service on the afternoon of Rosh Hashanah, we’ll gather at the water’s edge on Francis Beach. Throughout our other services, we’ll encourage everyone to get outside, stretch, move and breathe. Participating in a Zoom service doesn’t have to be dull. Our services will be relaxed, creative and deeply spiritual with a haimish (warm, friendly, inclusive) vibe that is unique to the Coastside.
The most important thing to know right now is that everyone must register! Click here to register now and we’ll send you the Zoom link, password and other important details. We will only send this information to those who register!
Even though services are free for CJC members, they must register. While suggested donation amounts for non-members are on our registration page, we never turn anyone away for inability to pay. Young adults are invited to attend for free, but they (or their parents) must also register. Don’t wait until the last minute. Now is the best time to reserve your space.
For those who are not familiar with Zoom, we are happy to provide technical support. And for those who do not have the equipment or ability to view/print a PDF containing some of the printed prayers and announcements, we can provide you with a hard copy and even deliver it to your home! Just let us know here.
Lastly, everyone is invited to participate by choosing a reading or anything else you’d like to share – perhaps a poem or a song.
Here is a list of readings to choose from. Select a reading you like and add your name in the yellow column next to it. Or if you have another reading, poem or song you’d like to share, you can add it to the list or email me. I am happy to offer suggestions, themes or other ideas.
