This play is a loving tale of three friends living in a neighborhood in Queens in the nineties, when people still had tea together. Ida, Lucille and Doris gather at Ida’s house once a month to visit their husbands’ graves at the cemetery. They are wonderfully different from each other, and so is their response to widowhood. When they meet Sam, a widower who has recently lost his wife, everything changes.
Described as GOLDEN GIRLS meets STEEL MAGNOLIAS, this play is a laughing look at grief and getting on with life.
