“50 Years of Pumpkin Festival Poster Designs, From Then To Now” ~ Kick-Off Gala at the Half Moon Bay Library

One of the special “Celebrating the Pumpkin Festival @ Fifty” events planned for this year’s Golden Anniversary Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival is the “50 Years of Pumpkin Festival Poster Designs, From Then To Now” special exhibit at Half Moon Bay Library.
The Beautification Committee had ALL 50 of the posters photographed and digitally saved, printed and mounted on foam-board for what will be a very cool exhibit throughout the month of October.
The committee invites the public to gather for a kick-off gala event celebrating fifty years of Pumpkin Festival Poster grooviness on Friday, October 7th from 3pm to 7pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Some of the festival poster designers have been invited to attend and tell the story behind their poster design process and overall festival experience. Light refreshments will be served.
Gratefully honoring our traditions and one of America’s truly iconic festival brands!
Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival: We Rise, We Shine!
The 50th annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival will be held October 15-16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on historic Main Street. Half Moon Bay’s Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off is October 10, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
WHEN: Oct. 15-16, 2022. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
