This is a two-hour workshop. Reference photos will be emailed in advance. Students will paint along with instructor from the photos provided. Students may also paint these on their own time. In this workshop, you will be able to create up to four small works, or more if you work quickly. Watch live demos showing how each 5×7 piece is created. The recommended Pentel brush pen with black ink lets you make fine lines as well as broader brush strokes.

BONUS: A class video will be made available on YouTube. Livestream link will be provided after registration.

Recommended materials:

• Pentel brush pen available here.

• Watercolor pad of paper (5×7, 8×10, or 9×12)

• Watercolor sketchbook

• A few watercolor paints of your choice selected from the following list:

• • Lemon yellow,
  • cadmium yellow,
  • cadmium red medium,
  • alizarin crimson,
  • cobalt blue,
  • ultramarine blue or phthalo blue,
  • Hooker’s green deep,
  • sap green,
  • yellow ochre,
  • burnt sienna,
  • Payne’s gray, sepia

(Artist-grade paints are recommended, as they have more pigment.

However, the less expensive student-grade paints are very acceptable for this workshop.)
