We are proud to announce that the new Coastside Fire Station 41 in El Granada is officially open! Firefighters have moved in, and are responding to calls from the new, state-of-the-art facility. This station rings in a new era of public safety for the San Mateo County Coast.

- This fire station is the largest on the Coastside by 3 times at 12,450 sqft.

- Location chosen for quick and easy access to Hwy 1 and fire risked EG.
- Sleeps up to 14 firefighters (usually 3) during red flag warnings
Coastside Fire Protection District Announces Virtual Grand Opening for New El Granada Station 41
Held Wed November 18 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am
El Granada, CA – The Coastside Fire Protection District would like to invite the community to attend the virtual grand opening of the new El Granada Fire Station 41. This state-of-the-art facility is just down the street from the current station on Obispo Road in El Granada. This 2,425-square-foot, 30-foot-tall facility will modernize and triple the size of the current station.
This fire station will have a huge impact on the safety of the San Mateo County Coast. It offers increased fire capabilities, more apparatus storage, and more living space for fire personnel in a fire-prone area of San Mateo County.
Due to COVID 19 guidelines, this event will be virtual as large public gatherings are not permitted.
